Why Is There A Need For Daylight Savings?
There might be some people who are asking why there is an existence of a daylight saving time and why even up no it is still existing. You can try to ask random strangers in the street and they would probably have the answer that would include the idea of giving help to the farmers and also because of the first world war or the second world war as well. Daylight saving time is one thing that farmers are not a fan of, and that is a known fact around the world. In some states, there are some places that do not observe daylight saving time while they do on other areas, and that is the reason behind farmers not becoming a fan of the daylight saving time. The issue of farmers putting up their crops for sale on the market place early in the morning even before the usual time that they need to do it in order to cater those people who are already there early in the market place because they are observing daylight saving time is something inconvenient for these farmers.
Many people in the United States were given the idea to save a lot of fuel by reducing the use of artificial sources of light during the very first World War and that is because of the existence of the daylight saving time. Even when the first World War came to and end, there were still several places in the states that continued to observe daylight saving time but during the second World War, the daylight saving time was observed only on a national level.
But even up until the present day, there are still several places that are still observing the daylight saving time even after all the World War, what could be the reason behind that?
The recorded history behind the alternate usage of the standard time and the daylight saving time in the United States dates back during the year 1966, and is mainly because of the United Time Act of 1966. But even until now, the congress of the United States are still searching for ways to change that idea over time. On the year 1973, people were already observing the daylight saving time all throughout the year even if it was stated on the first act that the practice of the daylight saving time will only be used during the months of the summer and spring seasons. During the year of 1986, people were now following the practice of the daylight saving time that will begin on the month of April, on the first Sunday at 2 in the morning, and the daylight saving time will end on the month of October at 3am on the last Sunday.
